This election petition political parties to expand Access to Community Health Centres NOW!

Ontario’s Community Health Centres(CHCs) and Aboriginal Health Access Centres (AHACs) are leaders in improving quality of care, reducing health inequities and increasing the cost-effectiveness of Ontario’s health care system. But less than four per cent of people living in Ontario have access to Community Health Centre services.

Ontario’s next provincial government must correct this situation. By 2015, it must enable at least 250,000 more Ontarians to access CHC services.

  • By investing in existing CHCs and AHACs so they can serve more clients;
  • By expanding the number of CHCs and AHACs throughout Ontario, enabling them to act as hubs for integrated delivery of health and social services.

You can help us make the case

  • Sign this election petition calling on Ontario’s next government to immediately implement plans to expand access to Ontario's Community Health Centres.
